41 ½ inch square teak or mahogany table with inlaid Mother of Pearl and gray and white
inset marble top (some inlay missing); nice set of 4 nesting teak or mahogany tables with
carved cherry blossoms around the sides; very ornate carved Japanese armchair with dragons
on arms that continue around to form open carved back CA. 1900 to 1940; pair of Chinese
chairs with carved back slats 1 side and 1 arm; 1880 to 1900 Oriental stand with ornately
carved base and pink inset marble top (marble cracked); rectangular stand with lower shelf
and pink inset marble top and carved fretwork apron around top; (2) carved and lacquered
stands,1 with dragon design on top; nice simple mahogany
5 shelf display stand 30 ½ tall 11 deep; black lacquered lift top
blanket chest with 2 drawers w/ brass empire pulls; 3 section carved mirror painted red
with gold gilt accents.
Chinese Soapstone Carvings incl.: More than 60 pcs. (most
of these have been packed up since 1963) some
up 10 tall and some very detailed carvings with flowers and birds, a few with
monkeys and other animals, and a couple with human figures and an unusual pair of carvings
with Chinese ships on them. Some of them have outstanding colorations present in the stone
that adds to their beauty.

Sumida Gawa Japanese pottery including a large censer on 3
legs with goats dressed in clothes surrounding the entire piece (some damage to horns on
the goats and a chip inside lid); 30 ½ floor vase with applied dragon in a green

Satsuma, including vases, censers w/Foo dog finials, and
ginger jars; small collection of Chinese Mud Men figures; (6) Chinese immortal
figures marked China in famile rose colors with removable

Chinese tea set in its wicker case (lid chip); many ginger jars in all types of designs
(both Japanese and Chinese); large early
Chinese charger in famille rose colors (hairlines); many pcs. of Chinese porcelain including
plates, turquoise glazed Foo dog teapot, several Foo dog figures and a collection of porcelain teaspoons. Large collection of 30 Japanese
chalk ware dolls made by Kinkodo Co.-Hakata, Arnart Creations, Napco, and Hukata-Urusaki Dolls. These all depict figures from everyday
Japanese life
fishermen, laundry lady, woman painting Japanese lanterns, musician,
man cleaning fish, Samari and others.
